First United Bank of Spring Branch, which is also one of our corporate sponsors, donated $376.47 to the club to be used to help fund District 5 Key Club Lt Gov Brooks Burrows registration to the Key Club convention. That money, along with the $150 that THCKC members donated, will certainly help Brooks with registration fees. Many thanks to First United Branch Manager Anabelle Fey for this generous donation. Receiving the check are HCK President Paul Barton and Kiwanian (also bank corporate rep) Becky Kilcrease. Peeking over the check are Kiwanians Leatine Fasano, Heather Huber, and Angie Moreno and bank eployees.
No Grinches Allowed….Our hearts grew one (Key Club) size that day
Submitted by Glenda Rast, Texas Hill Country Kiwanis Club
Christmas came early for the Texas Hill Country Kiwanis Club as we welcomed our newest Key Club from the Hill Country College Prep High School. New Key Club members joined the Texas Hill Country Kiwanis Club members at the Charter Ceremony on December 9, 2022. Mike Clark, Immediate Past President, addressed the newest addition to the Kiwanis family, stressing the importance of the day and the significance of being a member of the new club before inducting Faculty Advisor Marla Byrd and the Key Club Officers. Upon being presented with the President’s gavel, Key Club President Lillian Vickers performed her first official act….cutting a cake to celebrate the occasion. It’s a great day to be Kiwanis.

Our Three Key Clubs Working Together
Saturday, March 11, 2023 all three of our Key Clubs sent representatives to work the Bulverde Spring Branch Chamber Shred Day Event. Twelve Key Club members were a valuable help to this event. It was delightful to meet them and see them work together for the community.
